Thank you for your interest in one of our puppies. We typically only have 1-2 litters per year, and only breed a litter with the intention of keeping a puppy or two to continue our lines. After we decide what we are keeping from each litter, all remaining puppies (if any) will be available to pet homes ONLY. We do not typically accept deposits for a puppy until a litter is confirmed. There will always be the possibility that a puppy will become available several weeks before they are ready to go home as we evaluate and narrow down what to keep back for our program. Occasionally we have older, trained puppies available. These are our picks from previous litters that after continuous evaluation we have decided will make better family companions than show dogs. If we have any trained dogs available, they will be posted on our website and our Facebook page.
How To Obtain One Of Our Puppies:
A deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy or older dog. The deposit can be sent via Zelle (jammboreelabradors@gmail.com), PayPal friends and family to jamboreelabradors@gmail.com or Venmo (email me for my Venmo information). If I do not have a puppy of your sex/color choice available when a litter is born, I will gladly refund your entire deposit or you may choose to move it to a different litter, otherwise this deposit is nonrefundable. For older puppies and adult dogs, the entire deposit will be refunded if you do not fall in love with the dog at pick up. Remaining balance is due in cash at pick up. Prices of our dogs vary depending on age and training level. Our 8 week old puppies are $3200 and older trained puppies/young dogs range from $3700 to $5500. A contract and information packet will be emailed once puppies are born.
**Please Note: The 2023 purchase price of an 8 week old puppy ($3,000) will be honored for anyone who sent a deposit before 1/5/2024.
We do ask that you come to our home to pick up your puppy. If you do not live within driving distance from us, we are able to meet you at one of our local airports with the puppy (Chicago-O'hare, Chicago-Midway, Chicago-Rockford) for an extra fee. Please feel free to inquire for more information about flying with your puppy.

How do we pick our puppy?
After we receive a deposit, we will send a questionnaire for you to fill out that will help us learn about your lifestyle and what you are looking for in a puppy. Because we have spent tons of time raising these puppies, we know every little difference in personality better than anyone, and therefore we do not allow anyone to pick their puppy. We also perform the Volhard's Puppy Aptitude Test around seven weeks of age which allows us to best match the puppies to their future families. You will be notified of which puppy will be yours when they are seven weeks old (approx 1 week before you come pick up your puppy). We know you are excited, but we ask that you please do not ask which puppy will be yours before this time.
Do you remove dew claws?
Modern research shows that removing dew claws can cause atrophied muscles in the carpal region near where the dew claw would have been, leading to pain and arthritis with age. Because we want all of our puppies to be happy and healthy in their old age, we do not remove dew claws. They will not present any issues as long as they are trimmed regularly as with the rest of their nails.
Will we get to meet the parents when we pick up our puppy?
You will always get to meet the mother as all of our girls live with us. We often breed to outside stud dogs sometimes from other states and even other countries, so the sire to each litter will usually not be at our home.
Can we come visit your dogs and puppies?
If you are able to work around our busy schedule, we do allow a short 15 minute visit with our adult dogs. This gives us the opportunity to meet you in person and make sure your family is a great fit, and that one of our puppies will likewise be a great fit for your family! This visit will always take place outdoors, so please dress accordingly! If you have a deposit for a puppy, we do not allow puppy visits until they have had their first vaccine between 6 and 7 weeks old. All of our puppy families will be allowed one 20 minute puppy visit after this time.
What do your puppies come with?
Our puppies come with AKC LIMITED registration papers, a 26 month warranty against debilitating hip and elbow dysplasia, microchip, lifetime microchip registration with AKC Reunite, 30 days of AKC Pet Insurance, a health booklet that includes a Purina Pro Plan coupon, and a small bag of the Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy food.

We are happy to offer a discount to active duty and retired U.S. military personnel, firefighters, law enforcement personnel, and frontline healthcare workers (nurses, imaging techs, lab techs, ED techs, etc) out of appreciation for all they do to keep our country and communities safe. This discount is intended to help give back to our "middle-income" frontline workers.
The purchase price of an 8 week old puppy is $3,000 for those that qualify for the heroes discount. A $500 deposit is still required to reserve a puppy, and the remaining balance of $2,500 is due at puppy pick up. This discount is not applicable for older puppies or adult dogs.
